dress for 8 nite empress cruise

Can anyone please tell me the number of formal, informal and casual nites for this cruise?

Hi,

We did this cruise week of 5/15. There were two formal nights (Sun and Fri), two smart casual and the remainder casual. Most people dressed casually for all non-formal nites.

I don't think there is much difference. Smart casual used to be sport coats for men, but that isn't what I see, nor is it anywhere enforced. I'd consider smart casual and casual to be the same!
