Nassau- Carnival Victory June 8th

Hey everyone! I haven't been on a cruise in some years but I am getting back into especially now that I have a cruising partner. This is his very first and I am starting him off small with the 3 day to the Bahamas before we head on the Horizon in March. We are going in June and my memory is kind of foggy. Is the Atlantis excursion that Carnival offers worth the money or is it better if I get a one day pass from Atlantis itself? We need to go to the beach so are there other options?

We are going to Blue Lagoon in Nassau this April. It has wonderful reviews for beach time.
