bubbulz Posted November 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2017 We'll be boarding in Budapest after a few days on land there. At the end of the trip, we plan to have a private driver take us from Passau to Prague with a stop in Cesky Krumlov. We'll probably have 3 nights in Prague. Since flights are much less for us going to/from Budapest, we're considering heading back to Budapest for one last night there before our international flights home, rather than flying home via Prague. Has anyone here taken the train from Prague to Budapest? I do know it's a relatively long trip, but we love train travel and think we'd enjoy the scenery. And by the time we add in transit to/from airports, hassles of airport security, etc. it's probably not much more time overall than it would take to fly. It sounds like first class seats on the train are pretty comfortable - and there's a restaurant car and wifi.
