"Baby" travelling from port to the city

Im going with my son 1 1/2 year.

Were going to ports like bari, katakolon, korfu, athens, santorini...

I've notice that some ports are far from the city.

How do we get to the city with my son?

Taxis often dont have a baby seat. But is it possible to pay and go with a msc bus that they have without going on one of they're tours?

Katakalaon is very close to where the ship docks. However if you want to go to Olympus (not sure that will appealmto a young child) then you could get the Katakalon express bus instead of a tour (you'll find info on google about it).

Bari is not far away either. SA tori in is a render port and if you are on one of the later boats, the queue for the cable car up to Fira will be very long. I was on the 3 rd boat and had to wait for 45 minutes. The townnitself as lots of narrow little streets and alleys with lots of steps. Will be a bit of a challenge with a buggy.

There is a MSC shuttle bus in Corfu that drops you very close tomthe centre ofnthe old town. Don't knowmif they do a shuttle bus to Athens. You could use the HOHO buses as an alternative.
