LAPTOPS and WiFi on the AURORA

I am told that Wireless Fidelity has now been installed on the Aurora. There are a few "hot' areas including the Crowe's nest.

What isn't clear is how this service is charged for, as very few people are using the service yet, the installation being done after the ship sailed from Southampton and few people knew of the impending service when they boarded.

Anyone who ever tried to send a message from on board with the old method and who received bills like twenty pounds to send a slow message home like " We are both well and having fun', will appreciate that anything will be a relief.

I am told that the charge is supposely 15p a minute to use your laptop. In light that you can compose "off line" and then paste and send, one would think that the message would go in milliseconds making 15p an overcharge. Alas, there still seems like bills for pounds for simple messages. How this is possible I can't find out.

At the moment, I don't think a lot has changed.
