Plannin to take a bus to Hamilton from the Royal Naval dockyard on Sunday afternoon after 1 p.m. when we arrive. Are the shops open?

Plannin to take a bus to Hamilton from the Royal Naval dockyard on Sunday afternoon after 1 p.m. when we arrive. Are the shops open?

I have read here that most shops are closed except the ones in the dockyard. I have read that they stay open.
