Best way to get from Pier 35 to SFO.

What is the best way to get from the pier in SF to SFO? We'll have luggage so don't want to make too many changes. Does anyone know how much a taxi would be or if there is a shuttle that is good to use there? This is for 2 people and we'll be there in August.

You are better off taking a taxi from the pier to the Airport. Should be metered around $30.00 per cab. Haven't taken the taxi around in a while but the ride from the pier to the airport should be around 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

There should be plenty of cabs outside of the pier waiting in line to take passengers. Pier 35 is right next to Pier 39 (a major tourist attraction in San Francisco).
