Questions-Explorer II Antartica Bound

Taking our first RSSC cruise aboard the Explorer II on Jan. 26. I know this is not a typical RSSC ship and I hope someone with experience can help answer a few questions:

1. Shipboard (satellite) phone charges?

2. Internet/e-mail access and charges?

3. How is the food?

4. Zodiac landing experiences?

Well, a little research and I'm answering some of my own questions. The Explorer II is actually operated by Abecrombie & Kent from the UK. Their website has outstanding information, including a day by day log of activity during current cruises. For more information go to
