Aarhus Denmark

Looking for ideas for DIY as compared to the high priced tours RCI offers. We are in port May 4th from 0800 - 5:00 pm.

Aarhus is very walkable and we enjoyed our time there. We docked very near to town so it was an easy stroll. We went to the Museum of Occupation which we found fascinating, followed by a stroll through the Old Town and coffee & cakes (prices are expensive.) it was a lovely place.

Den gamle by (open air museum), and Aros (Museum of modern art) are some of the highlights.

You could also head to Moesgaard museum (ethnographic museum), but that is a bit out of town, and you would need to take a bus there.

The centre is very walkable. Plenty of cafés and restaurants.
