Butchart Gardens

Would love to go back the Butchart Gardens in the daylight! Will be staying over in Vancouver after cruise in August.

Can someone give me an idea of how to get to the gardens from a downtown Vancouver hotel, transportation costs, accessibility, etc.

Granny, Butchart Gardens are on Vancouver Island. To get there you would take a bus to the Tswassen ferry,(from downtown Vancouver approx 45 min) take a ferry to Swartz Bay (the ferry ride is about 1 1/2 hours). You can then either take a bus or a taxi to the Gardens.

Gail, this might be the easiest option for you, depending on how much time you have to play with.
