We Can Take Water and Soda On Board RCC Radiance?

I read a couple places that people took water and soda on board the RCC Radiance. I know you can't take alcohol of any kind or they would take it away but is it true that you can take soda and water? I thought you could not take any drinks but if it is true I would like someone to post that is sure of this because I will definitely take both on board. Thanks in advance!:)

Have RCCL changed their rules for taking some bottled water on the ship??? I'd like to put a few bottles of water and soda in a soft sided cooler and check at the pier? Will it make it to my room?
