Sending Excess luggage back to NZ from Rome

Someone may be able to offer a suggestion.

We leave this Sunday(7th) and after our 20 day cruise in the med we are doing a Italy land tour. I would like to off load our xtra unwanted luggage( formal gowns suits etc,).

Has any one ever sent back any luggage from Rome to Auckland. Don't mind if it is snail pace as won't want it straight away when we get back

Can't suggest any freight services, but I would recommend avoiding the post office if you were thinking of that.

Italian Post has a reputation for... "unreliability" shall we say.
