Holiday Inn / San Pedro

Has anyone stayed in the Holiday Inn located in San Pedro?

We stayed there last year. Maybe not in best neighborhood but rooms were clean and big. There shuttle took us to pier without any problems. Heard they have changed hands so not sure what they may be like now. Going out of San Pedro again this fall and the priceline thing may be the way to go.

In checking the Holiday Inn SP: Their deal for the fly and stay seemed pretty good to me, @ $149 per room. This includes transfers both ways to LAX, and shuttle to the ship. The extra night will be $99. Is this correct?

We're staying at the Holiday Inn San Pedro this Thurs. night before our Monarch cruise 5/20/05. Paying $189. which includes pickup from Lax and return to Lax post cruise, shuttle to ship and one night's lodging. Will try and post my thoughts on the hotel when we get back. We really debated between the Holiday Inn. Sheraton and Marina, but flight does't get in until 9:30pm and this just seemed easier for us.
