Spa on Star

Sailing on 2/14 Rome to Barcelona Medeterranean Getaway. No sea days...very full itinerary....but being February, it may be chilly, and hoping I can use the spa facilities to warm up in the evenings.

Is use of the spa facilities (sauna, steam, grotto, pools) included in the fare, or is there a surcharge?

No surcharge at all. Only a charge for massages, facials, haircut, manicure, pedicure. The steam room, indoor swirl pool, hot tub, snow grotto, as well as use of changing rooms, showers, sauna, cold plunge - all free. However, on the maiden cruise, it wasn't open after 6:00 pm. It was all locked up after then.

I thoroughly enjoyed this area of the ship!

Also free use of gym - unless you want a personal trainer.
