Commodore on the Beach - Galveston

Does anyone know anything about this hotel? They have a 10% off coupon for when I need to stay there but I've read some good and some not so good reviews. Wondering if anyone has stayed there?

Yes we have stayed there but it was 20 years ago on our Honeymoon. We were a little disapointed with it but that was so long ago. It was the first hotel room I had ever booked and the DW so not really thrilled with it. Still kind of a running joke about how great I am at finding hotel rooms. But if you just need the room for the night before you cruise it will probably be just fine.

We have stayed at the Commodore several times and have not had a problem with anything. It is not a 5 star hotel by any means, but it has always been very clean and the rooms are nice and the people are very nice.
