Parking in Galveston

Does anyone know if you can leave your car parked at the Holiday Inn Sunspree during your cruise?

I know that you can at the other Holiday Inn in Galveston, but they were all booked up.

Check the port forums for a probable answer, but why wouldn't you call the HI yourself and ask, or e-mail and get it in writing. Too important to leave up to hearsay.

Most hotels tell you if you can park and any charges when you book. Some have info when booking on the internet. We had planned on staying at a hotel that offered free parking and found out there was a charge for their shuttle.

I have heard that they do offer parking for cruisers. I usually stay in houston or clear lake and then park at EZ cruise parking. You can get good hotel on priceline for $50 out of Galveston, eat a great seafood dinner at PappaDeux and then drive to the port for noon departure.. have fun, i do.
