Drury Inn New orleans

I just booked us for one night precruise at Christmas time (the 23rd) at the Drury Inn. We have never been to new orleans and wanted to be not too far from the port but within walking distance of the french quarter (it is four blocks) has anyone stayed there? Any comments? The price was not bad, 120.00 plus tax.

We stayed at the Drury Inn in New Orleans a few years ago. We found it to be a very nice place .I'm sure you will like it.I don't think you can walk to the French Quarter from there ,but there is a bus for little or no cost. Hope this helps.
