Windsurf Nice/Nice May 21 - June 4

We will be on the Windsurf 14 day Grand Prix Cruise and have been trying

to figure out which ports to take tours at. Does anyone know if any of the following ports offer scooter rentals? Monte Carlo, St. Florent,

Ponza, Amalfi, Sorrento, Livorno or Portofino. Thanks!

I would recommend a scooter rental in a less 'populated' place than Monte Carlo during Gran Prix week or Cannes for that matter, during the annual Zoo rituals.:rolleyes:

Perhaps one of the less inhabited islands would be a better choice...we may even join you!:)

Actually, we were thinking about renting scooters in Amalfi or Sorrento.....

unfortunately, the timimg isn't working out. We arrive in Amalfi at

7:00 AM and depart at 1:00 PM, the ship sails to Sorrento, we arrive

at 4:00 PM and depart the following morning at 7:00 AM. I had already

checked rental rates in Amalfi and they were very reasonable, around

$50/day. I look forward to meeting you on board!

It is somewhat perplexing to have such little time in the islands, as well as not visiting Portovenere in the Cinqco' Terre...as well as not having the 'at sea' day on Thursday 6/1/2006...:cool:

Perhaps that is why this cruise is only 8 days in 2007...

As for scootering round' maybe better choices would be St. Florent, Corsica or Portofino.:rolleyes:
