Hotel in Mobile other than the Radisson Admiral Semmes

It seems that everyone recommends the Radisson, but I don't need the park & cruise package and was looking for something a little less expensive. Any other recommendations? ALso, How does everyone get fropm the airport to the hotel?

For cheap, I've stayed at the Red Roof off !-10/65 and used a coupon from one of those booklets from the welcome center (roomsavers.com--though I am not sure they still offer it. It was clean and cheap. It was one (maybe 2) exits down from the intersection of 10 & 65, I believe it was called Tillman COrner) where alot of motels were located. There was a new Motel 6 across the road. I've also stayed at a Fairfield on 65 which was very nice but used my Marriott points for that. I have no idea of shuttles/taxis available for either area. I would try Roomsavers and see what they have listed.

FOr a really nice stay, the Marriott at Point Clear is one of the nicest resorts I've ever stayed at.
