Report - Beverly Hills Hotels

Recommended Posts

So, I'm going to do a report here on Beverly Hills Hotels.

I'm going to give my knowledge and experience on firstly the ultimate Beverly Hills experience, then move onto more "boutique" hotels for those of you looking for that...

I'll put each hotel in a different post here, so that I can add pictures and such...

Hang on...

Okay so firstly for the ultimate Beverly Hills experience, I would always check out The Beverly Hills Hotel first.

#1 It was literally the first building built, and the entire city of Beverly Hills was built around it. So, the ultimate historical place.

#2 If you want a great staff, service, architecture, you will get it here...

#3 It's kind of historical, beautiful, the best staff in BH, fantastic grounds, private, serene but at the same time exciting when you want it...

(They have a limo that will take you to Rodeo Drive, Sunset Strip, etc. - as long as it's within 3 miles, which most of it is)...

So, you can get the cool Beverly Hills treatment, and also a little exclusive, and then be close to the hustle and bustle when you want.

#4 It has "The Polo Lounge", so come on, there you go!

#5 If you want the ultimate of the ultimates, then get one of the bungalows! You might a a celebrity right next door in another bungalow recovering from some secret plastic surgery (not that I know this is a high possibility or anything:rolleyes: )...

My second choice...

If you want to be right on the edge of Rodeo Drive, and basically more of the daily right there hustle and bustle of Beverly Hills shopping...

More of a high end European type hotel...

It's the hotel from "Pretty Woman"...

Second best Beverly Hills all around experience and staff...

Beautiful hotel, and walking distance to all of the stores and restaurants on Rodeo Drive and Wilshire Blvd.

This would be my third choice, for a Beverly Hills experience; as it's kind of a half-way meld between the two above.

I love that most if not all of the rooms have balconies, and great city views.

Then, walking distance and close to the high end shops and restaurants on Beverly Blvd., then down to Robertson Blvd. for the ultimate celebrity/paparazzi experience at The Ivy! (seriously, 90% of all tabloid shots in the magazines are shot in this area)...

For a Beverly Hills experience, but a bit more "boutique"...

I really like The Peninsula Hotel...

Smaller, more boutique, but a great location.

This is the place that people stay in Beverly Hills, when they want a more intimate "home away from home" feeling...

This is good if you want something that is technically in Beverly Hills, but is a little more "Hollywood" than "Beverly Hills"...

What is good about this one, is the location...

You can literally walk right up Wilshire Blvd. to shopping and Rodeo Drive, or down Santa Monica Blvd. to Century City shopping and restaurants.

So, it's a good location for that if you want it.

Now, it's personally for me more of a Hollywood hotel (even though it's not in Hollywood technically) than a Beverly Hills hotel.

Then, it has Trader Vic's restaurant/bar, which is completely old school and new school; and the place where the original Mai Tai was created.

If you are into that kind of 1940s/1950s old school Hollywood kitch, it's right here...

So, there you go, that's what I have for now...

Enjoy!
