SD 1 7/28 Are we sailing alone?

I have been viewing your threads for quite awhile and feel like I know some of you. Your photos and reviews made my choice to sail on SeaDream 1. I'm wondering if anyone else will be sailing on this cruise, Athens to Venice 7/28? We plan to spend several days before and after and need info regarding hotels and must see sights. We are also wondering about travel insurance, do you get the insurance offered through the travel agency (which seems very expensive) or do you look for independent insurance, and if so where? Our vacation will be for over a month. Hoping to meet some of you soon.

I would love to be on the sailing. We will be going on the October 6 - Malta to Naples, then again on the 5 night Caribbean in December.

You are going to love SeaDream - and I have done that general itinerary 2 years ago - you are going to love that itinerary as well.

I always purchase insurance through my agent - never through the cruise lines. I have always found that agency insurance to be pretty reasonable - but I suppose it's what they are actually offering that will determine the price. I know that lots of people have recommended http://www.insuremytrip.com but I have never used them.
