[font=Arial][size=4]I was reading in the paper today about a courageous young lady, Rasha Kawar, a 9 year old with Cerebral Palsy. The story is an Associated Press Article – so others outside Ft. Worth may have seen it. She has started a petition to get airlines to have one handicapped restroom per airliner. She was inspired to start the petition after a flight with her mother when her mother couldn’t get her clothes back on because the restroom was so small. I looked just a minute ago and the count is up to 6128 - I was number 4867 - I hope some those signatures were from CC'ers passing the word around. I'm sure it didn't hurt that it was in the paper - LOL

I have a 13 year old with mild CP and he is very lucky that he doesn't need a chair to get around. On our last flight he needed my help with his pants and we both couldn't fit into the restroom - I had to leave the door open - thankfully no one was waiting. So I can ALMOST COMPLETELY understand how this young lady feels.
