Help in San Juan for 1 day

Hi All:

I will be getting into San Juan at about noon and my cruise ship does not depart until 10:00 pm.

Any suggestions on what to do? I was thinking to possibly walk around Old San Juan and maybe get a nice lunch somewhere on the water?

I don't want to do any excursions after a morning of flying just something nice yet I would like to see San Juan.

Also what time will I be able to put my luggage on board the ship? We will be on RC's Serenede of the Sea.

I believe there is a good walking tour of Old San Juan if you are interested. Maybe if you do a search on this forum, it would give you some help. Also, you can visit El Morro as well.

Hi Kim,

We just got back from a Carnival Cruise that left out of San Juan; and we flew into San Juan 2 days early to have a mini vacation before our cruise. I know you won't be able to do much with the little time that you have; however, you may want to take a walk/taxi to one of the historic forts around Old San Juan, or simply take a stroll down the streets of Old San Juan.

kim and john take a taxi to the ship at the panam pier check in and leave luggage take the ferry or a taxi to old san juan for a nice walk return about 500 or 600 then enjoy finding your way around the ship will be sailing nov 6th

Go to Sr. Frogs and enjoy all day.. Puerto Rico are beautiful, you can go to the beach and whatever place that you want...
