Wind Surf in St. Johns

I think you mean St. John. It gets a confusing because the port where ships dock in Antigua is St. John's.

I believe the spot is Cruz Bay. I'm going on the December 12 sailing with a friend. The description of the kayak excursion implies that and I recall seeing that mentioned as the port somewhere else. I don't know if it docks or anchors.

I also would be interested in having that confirmed.

We were on the Wind Spirit last year, and it anchored outside of Cruz Bay. I would imagine the Surf will do the same. St. John doesn't have a large enough dock to handle either ship. It was only about a 5-10 minute tender ride to the National Park dock from where we were anchored. Pretty much everything from excursions to taxis to car rentals and shopping originate from Cruz Bay. There are also a couple of gorgeous, less crowded beaches (Salomon and Honeymoon Beaches) within a 20 minute hike from where the tender drops you off. Go into the Park office and ask for maps/directions. We love St. John!
