? about Inspiration Spa Access

We are booked in a 6B room with 4 people (myself, DH, DS(20) and DD(14)) on the Inspiration - January 2, 2010. We thought it would work out ok if my husband and son used the spa showers to get ready while my daughter and I get ready in the stateroom. I read on another thread that if you are not booked in a spa cabin, you have to pay a fee (I believe it was $249.00 per couple) to have access to the spa. Is this true, or is it only on some ships? If we have to pay to access the spa, we might as well book a second room and skip all of the trouble.......

Also, the price of our cruise has risen quite a bit since I booked, if we do decide to book a second cabin would Carnival honor the price we paid for the first cabin or would we have to rebook the whole reservation at the higher price?

Thanks in advance! You guys are great.

There is no fee on the Inspiration. The $240 weekly pass applies only to Cloud 9 spas that are on the Splendor and the Dream.

No worries! Happy cruising! :D

PS - In answer to your 2nd question, I don't think you will have to rebook, but you will have to pay the higher price for the second cabin only, plus any penalties/fees for changes to your original reservation as applicable.

Thank you for your quick reply, I appreciate the information. If we can access the spa, we will be ok with the one cabin, yes it will be a little crowded, but we can manage. After all, how much time do you really spend in your cabin?

Exactly! And you're welcome. :)

BTW - The showers in the spa are MUCH better than the cabin showers IMO. Plenty of space, no sly shower curtain sneaking up on you, and the water pressure is so much better! Plus, there's an ample supply of towels available to use while you're in the spa, so you don't have to feel guilty about "stealing" DH's towel to dry your hair.
