Pre Cruise Hollywood/LA Tour from San Pedro

We arrive in LA around 11AM the day before our departure on the Mariner. We are staying at the Doubletree in San Pedro. We aren't planning on renting a car, but are interested in seeing the LA area. Does anyone know if any Hollywood/LA tours offer a pick up in San Pedro?

You're not giving yourself very feasible options here at all with what you want.

As it stands, you have a few of options:

#1 Change your flight so that you arrive very early in the morning.

So early that you can get into LAX, into a shuttle or taxi, then down to Doubletree San Pedro by 8:30 AM.

If you do that, then you can take a Sunseekers Tour to LA and Hollywood that will pick up from your hotel.

They are the only good tour from the area.

It's too late in the day to start a tour to LA from San Pedro by the afternoon.

#2 Arrive a day earlier, so you can already be at Doubletree in the morning.

#3 Stay in Hollywood or Santa Monica, so that you can actually go from LAX to your hotel. From there, there are tons of tours that are good that can do what you want. Then just take a shuttle to the pier in the morning.

#4 Get down to the Doubletree in San Pedro. Use the hotel van to drop you off in a couple of places so that you can take my personal tour of San Pedro Movie Filming Locations:

This is a lot more fun and enjoyable if you rent and watch the movies before you go...

#5 I don't recommend this, as it's not a good tour, but it's an option:

I don't think they're good at all, but they will pick you up and drop you off at LAX. You can then shuttle or taxi down to your hotel at the end when you are finished.

Those are your options at this point. I only personally recommend #1 though #4.
