Fascination Doors

Are the doors on the ocean view rooms metal on the Fascination? We are a group that would like to put a sign on all of our doors but not sure if we need tape or can use magnets. Thanks in advance.

i was on fascination in feburary and i saw magnets on some of the doors so i'm guessing they're metal.:)

Yes, the doors are metal with a plastic veneer overlay.

So magnets work, but they have to be strong magnets.

Wimpy magnets will slide down the door.

 

I always bring clear packing tape (comes off easy), or sticky tac, which you can get from a Craft Supply Store.:cool:

The doors on Carnival ships have a steel core, insulation and then aluminum outer layer.

The magnet is can't stick to the aluminum but it's attracted by the steel core. It'll work with light things like a sheet of paper but for anything much heavier you're better off with that foamy double side sticky tape...
