Hotel in San Juan airport??

Is there a hotel in the San Juan airport? If not, where is good place to stay if going down a day early?

There are no hotels at the airport. But, there are a multitude of nice hotels in San Juan, none of which are inexpensive.

 

Last April, we stayed at the Wyndam Condado Plaza which was a great hotel (about $250 per night). There is also the Caribe Hilton nearby. Other people have spoken highly of the Wyndam Old San Juan.

 

Your choices really depend on two things: do you want the beach, or the historical downtown areas.
