Good to see Thomsons got the editors award for the best for first time cruisers.:)

 

We did this. Booked Thomsons for our first cruise and if we liked it would then go on a bigger, probably more luxurious line with more things to do.

 

Thats where the plan went wrong. After the first cruise on the Spirit we were hooked. Have now done 3 cruises (2 on the Spirit and 1 on the Celebration)and have two more booked. :)

 

We do not even think of going on any other cruise lines now as after the 'Thomson Experience' (that we have all commented about in numerous threads on here) we are quite happy and would probably be dissapointed.

We did the same 3 years ago, went on the Spirit to see if we liked it - we did!!!! We've now been on the Spirit twice, the Emerald and the Destiny with the Destiny booked again for January!!!

 

We have been on P&O, last November, but only because it had the itinerary we wanted. We did enjoy it, but there's just "something" about Thomsons that keeps pulling us back!!!
