We are seriously thinking about renting a vehicle to travel around Cozumel like we did the last time. That time we accidentally got hooked up with a "time share" sort of deal and got the jeep "free" after doing the tour-- won't do that again! Anyhow I need info on how to go about renting a Jeep or whatever. My questions are: what pier does the Dawn dock at or does it vary? How do I find a decent price-- what is the price range--with insurance of course? Are all the rental places close to the piers? Could we do a beach club for a few hours or would that be a waste of money if we don't plan to stay too long? Are there other free places just to swim without the services provided at a beach club? Any info would be appreciated --thanks.

We've rented a jeep the last two times in Cozumel and I believe we paid between $60 and $70. I don't remember the name of the place, but there is a free beach down a few miles to the right of the pier when looking at land that you can rent snorkeling equipment, eat, etc.
