Mayfair Hotel - Coconut Grove??'s

We have booked a suite in the Mayfair hotel in Coconut Grove for New Year's Eve and I have a few questions.

 

Has anyone stayed in one of the suites that have a private balcony with its own hot tub? If so, what was it like?

 

Is there a store nearby that I could buy DW some champagne to enjoy in the hot tub?

 

How far to Port of Miami? Approximate cab fare?

 

I am hoping it is everything that it appears to be. It will be a wonderful way to celebrate New Year's Eve.

The hotel is great the best in coconut grove. The hot tub is a little small but very secluded. You will enjoy your stay. There is everything you will need with in a couple of blocks. It will be packed for New Year's. It is about 20 minutes if that from the port........No idea how much it would cost.

Thanks for the reassurance. I live in a small town insouthwestern Ontario, Canada. This New Year's Eve will be quite a change for us.

We are booked at the Mayfair in Dec. and reviews are mixed. There is a nightclub that draws a lot of locals on the top floor of the hotel and I hear it gets quite noisy. New Year's Eve it will really be rockin. You can read reviews on Trip Advisor.
