SFO-YYZ-FRA-BCN Airport Logistics Questions

Newbie question....

 

American citizen with passport....flying from SFO to BCN with the connections listed in the topic. At which points do we need to clear immigration and or customs? I know we check in at SFO International, and clear customs at BCN, but do we need do anything more than go to our connecting gates in YYZ and FRA?

BTW. Air Canada all the way except for Star Alliance Partner Lufthansa from FRA to BCN and on the return from BCN to FRA.
