Well we're back. I would say our time on the Majesty would be considered an above average vacation. The likes outweighed the dislikes but with numerous dislikes it was not a extraordinary vacation.

What we liked:

The staff was awsome. We were well taken care of by our waiters and cabin steward.

Food in the main dining rooms was very good. Don't waste your money on the LeBistro. The food was no better than the food in the dining room. The lobster on the surf and turf was like chewing leather. The filet mignon was very good though.

We liked the drink card. For 28.75 you can get all of the soft drinks you want.Good deal, but be prepared to be served after all the alcoholic drinks are served. They have an automatic 15% added to it.

Liked the grilled burgers and fries in deck 10.

The shows were good and entertaining.

Dislikes:

Buffets simply suck. Food is cold. Breakfast buffet is awful unless you like drinking your scrambled eggs and eating burnt bacon. The breakfast was much better in the dining areas.

Elevators are vey slow and crowded.

Pools and hot tubs are overcrowded.

Not enough areas on the ship for non-smokers. Couldnt go dancing without smelling like an ashtray .

We didn't like our shore excursions. Simply picked the wrong ones. Basiclly just took tours around Caymans and Mexico. We did like Mexico and Key West but hated the Caymans. Too much devastation from the hurricane.

We loved freestyle and will go with NCL again but I would not recommend this ship or cruise. The ship is small and you get a lot of the rocking motion from the sea. The ports are alright but you are just dropped off in the shopping districts to spend more money. Also, if the ship recommends a place for you tp shop it is because they have a stake in it. They either own the shop or get a kickback from the store. We were told that NCL gets 30,000 dollars a year plus 10% of profits for recommending businesses. Shop elsewhere.
