Food Special Orders

Someone started a thread on the best meal they'd ever had on Silversea. I'm curious about what is the best food you've ever had that was special ordered on your cruise? For me, I always special order Peanut Butter Cookies. On one cruise, they ran out of peanut butter, and had to hunt for it at one of the ports. This wasn't an easy task in the Eastern Mediterranean.

One SS cruise l celebrated my birthday.

We had a large table of 12 for the festivities and l had pre ordered

a Pavlova for the table with fresh banana and passionfruit. It was presented with great fanfare and cut and served at the table.

 

It was magnificent.

 

and a real hit with the whole table.

 

l seen many more served throughout the cruise to other tables as well.

l think we started a trend which turned out to be very popular.
