gooch47 Posted December 31, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2009 Wow. We just got our flight info for our Amazon River cruise in March. We arrive in Miami around 10:30 a.m. and then leave for Manaus at 12:50 a.m. the next "morning." This is considered an overnight? Does anyone know if we get a room at a hotel or is it just a hospitality thingy?

Does anyone know if we get a room at a hotel or is it just a hospitality thingy? Check out "friend of Eeyore" review: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1107715 You see, since we were traveling on the Princess charter flight, we had transfers to our "operational overnight" at the hotel with Princess. We were forced to pay for the hotel, and had to take their bus back and forth. Waiting an hour wouldn't have been bad, except that our flight back was at 12:50 in the morning, and our bus back to the airport was at 9:40. So our "overnight", which we paid a full night for, was only 3 hours. That sure sounds like you get a hotel but you have to pay for it :(
gooch47 Posted December 31, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted December 31, 2009 Thanks. I remember that post, now. I sure hope we can get a little sleep on the plane.
