Infinity Alternative Dining

I have read and now cannot seem to find it :confused: Is there an Alternative Dining Option on the Infinity. We are saling to Alaska and may or may not opt for the MDR on some nights especially on late port days. So can you let me know exactly how this works, how far in advance do you reserve or is it walk-up, how late is it available and lastly what are the entree choices?

There was an option to eat in the buffet area that is sectioned off similar to the main dining room. We did this last spring on our Panama Canal cruise. I would assume that option is still there. The night we tried it, the food was similar, but not sure all options were available. Also it seems the wait staff was learning, which I thought was a great opportunity for them.

 

Otherwise, there is the buffet, room service, speciality restaurant.
