Cleocruiser Posted January 27, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2010 We will be arriving back in San Juan on Easter Sunday. Will anything be open? Anything special going on? We have a mid afternoon flight out that day and we are trying to decide if we should go straight to the airport or go sightseeing for a few hours. Any suggestions ? seashinesunshine Posted January 27, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2010 I don't know if stoers etc will be open, however walking around Old San Juan anytime is so fun. There is a sidewalk that goes below the city walls that is really fun to walk and at the greenway between the two forts on Sunday afternoons families go there and fly kites. It is so fun to see, not sure about Easter Sunday though.
rainforestgirl Posted January 28, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 28, 2010 On Easter Sunday, stores/restaurants should be open as usual. The forts will be open. There will be Easter masses going on at churches around town. So sure, stick around town and sight see instead of just sitting at the airport.
