First timer questions.

I am going on Mariner of the Seas 3/27/05 with family including two 14 year olds and a 9 year old. We currently have two balcony cabins five doors apart. Is there any way (other than keeping on calling RCCI) to check if we can find cabins coming off hold that are next to each other?

 

Also, has anyone done the tubing on the White River in Jamaica with a local company, rather than going with the cruise excursion?

 

Finally - how early a flight should we book out of Orlando if the ships docks at 8:30?

We took our cruise out of Miami, so I don't know if you have travel time or not. But, I do know if you book a return flight after 1PM you should have no trouble making your connection, and be able to check in two hours before. They do make allowances for those who are able to prove they have returning flights at a certain time, to let them off the ship first. But, it is usually 9-9:30 before they start letting people off the boat.

As far as getting two rooms together, I don't know of any other solution than keeping contact with the cruise line. Many people will cancel before the final payment is due, and you might get lucky.

cefh........I just checked Sams Club website and it does show some balcony cabins side by side on dec 6 and 8.
