Passports and Visa's

Hi,

 

I have a few questions which im hoping some of you cruisers can answer.

 

1. on arrival at Dominican Republic, after immigration, do we just go through to Ships arrival person who then transfers us to the dock?

 

2. On embarking are visa's/passports checked ?

 

3. Are passports required to get on each port?

 

Im doing the Coral Islands on the Thomson Destiny on the 28th Feb.

You will be asked to wait on the plane, to let all the non cruise passengers get off, then you will be transferred straight to the cruise ship, where you will have to fill in your details for your cruise card, i.e. credit card number. Your cases will be sent straight to your cabin

2. On embarking are visa's/passports checked ?

 

Yes - passports are checked when you register your credit card. You won' need a visa.

3. Are passports required to get on each port?

 

Once onboard, put your passport in your safe, you won't need it until you disembark.

We have just returned from the Destiny (7.00 a.m. today to be exact!!) We've had a fantastic fortnight.:D
