Las Brisas (formerly the Ramada Inn) is on the causeway (a highway that crosses Mobile Bay except during high water). Their rooms are $59. If you stay there pre-cruise, you can leave your car there all week, and they will shuttle you to and from the port. They are across the street from Felix's Fish Camp restaurant (good food.) They are quite near the port.
