Snorkling in Calica and Cozumel

Does anyone know where the best snorkling is in either of these two places? I am not talking about booking an excursion. I am talking about getting off the cruise ship and getting a cab and heading to the beach. I have been to Chakkanab Park and it was great and I would like to try something different this time. Anyone heard of Paradise Reef? An article I was reading said this was the only reef accessible from the beach. Let me know what you think of it.
