moonandsun Posted February 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2010 Looking a booking a cruise and one of the suites we are looking at says "obstructed". My question is: How obstructed is obstructed? Thanks in advance. :D Ship Elation Room V30 Thanks!!
arush5268d Posted February 17, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2010 Ship? Room number??? Chances are that there is a life boat blocking part of your view of the ocean.
tls630 Posted February 17, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 17, 2010 You don't say which ship you are looking at? That would help in giving an accurate answer. However the main deck on the Spirit class ship are obstructed and that means some have a limited view and others do not. If you let us know what ship it would help. dwright406 Posted February 17, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2010 Here's the view from V23 on the Ecstasy. Don't expect much in the way of leg room either.

ericrz Posted February 17, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 17, 2010 V30 actually should be even better than V23, with only a small part of the lifeboat protruding into your view. http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/Main/Carnival+Elation-deck-plans.html The cabin immediately next door (V26) is already in the "non-obstructed" category, so you should be in pretty good shape. jam3 Posted March 2, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 2, 2010 Looking a booking a cruise and one of the suites we are looking at says "obstructed". My question is: How obstructed is obstructed? Thanks in advance. :D Ship Elation Room V30 Thanks!! I was wondering the same thing because we have booked that exact room for a November sailing! I researched as much as possible and I believe there is only 2 feet of the lifeboat nose peeking into the left side of the balcony. I wanted this room because it was $160 less than the cabin next to it but still a balcony! If you find pics, please let me know!!:D
