St. Croix-Suggestions for 2 that want to "get away" for the day

Hubby and I are looking for something more quiet/remote in St. Croix. We love doing group excursions, but we want a day where just the 2 of us can explore the island and beaches without mass chaos.

 

We're thinking of just letting a taxi taking us for a little tour, peaceful beach and lunch/drinks. Obviously it's helpful to know where we should be going, where we can stop AND more importantly, knowing how to make it safely back to the ship on time!
