Restaurants near Marriott Stellars

We are staying at Marriott Stellars pre cruise. Looking for good restaurant near the hotel. We are thinkng of renting a car (pretty sure) and want to meet up with our roll call folks.

Maybe something not too expensive.

We just stayed at the Stellaris several weeks ago. If you go out the front of the hotel and turn right, there are many, many restaurants & bars of all types within easy walking distance.

 

If you go out of the front of the hotel and turn left, there are about twice as many!!

 

We actually didn't eat dinner the two nights we were there, but a couple we met at the rain forest raved about a Thai restaurant a few blocks down, to the left.

what kind of food are you looking for? Go out the driveway and head to the right.

Past Walgreens on the Left are lots of restaurants with Puerto Rican food. We ate at Cafe del Angel (great mojitos) and Orozco's. Thought the food was better at Orozco's. Also had breakfast at one of the restaurants near them.

 

 

To the left of the Stellaris is Danny's and a bunch of other restaurants. Heard Danny's was good for dinner or breakfast...DH and I wanted traditional food so we ate at the other 2.

 

We rented a car post cruise from budget. Not necessary in my opinion for the area that the Marriott Stellaris is in. After cruise, we drove down to Pinones to see what the area was like.
