Southern Caribbean- Private or Cruiseline diving

We are traveling on the Serenade, 4/9/05. The plan is to dive St. Johns, Antiqua, Castries, St. Lucia, and Bridgetown, Barbados. Should we use ship or private operation? If private which ones? We have used 3 different cruiselines dive excursions with only a few problems...too many inexperienced divers or dive-ops taking you to a close but overly used dive site. I am a little nervous about missing the ship. Twice we were literally the last people to board. Nothing is better than diving while cruising. Get up, eat, dive, eat, play, sleep and the next morning you have been moved to the next incredible island to do it all again. Thanks for any ideas.
