gluten free dining Azamara

Cruising Azamara to Greece and Istanbul June 8th. Has anyone had experience with how they handle Gluten Free diets?

Thanks.

If you booked with a TA, then call them and ask them to advise AZ of your dietary restrictions (AZ may send a form for you to complete with specific details and send back to AZ) or if you booked direct call AZ and advise them of your needs (again they will send a form for you to complete).

This should be done ASAP as AZ will need to advise the Chef on that sailing so they can plan menus for you. Sometimes the Chef will come to the table on the first night just to reconfirm your needs-cruise lines really are adept at catering to special diets, so you will not feel like your meals are less tasty or special than the other passengers.

Have a great trip!

On our February 2010 sailing (Hong-Kong to Singapore), I noticed, and sampled, many gluten free items in Windows/Breeza (buffet). Some of the gluten-free desserts were quite good. They also called out Vegan, Vegetarian, and no-sugar-added items on little placards to make them easier to spot.
