sbcruisers Posted March 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2010 We will be in Grand Cayman in a few weeks. What is there to do within a reasonable walking distance of the dock. We probably want something other than beach and water sports as we will be doing those at other ports. Thank you

parrotthead Posted March 20, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2010 There are all kinds of shops well within walking distance. Its a safe, clean town, IMO. Theres a nice RumBar/Restauant called Breezes, nice waterfacing paito, good food, good drinks (remember all prices are listed in Cayman Dollars) We just started walking and found all kinds of cool shops etc. There is also Atlantis Subs just a short walk from the pier. You can do the semi-submerge (which you sit about 5 feet under the water serface) or we did the full sub--(went down 110 ft.) pretty cool, since we dont snorkel or anything like that. GrandCayman is one of our favorite ports!
