We don't want to have to wait for hours at the airport for the bus... Thank you! An 8am arrival means you'll probably clear formalities about 9am, and that's also about when the first ship's transfer bus (coach) usually starts collecting. Someone from NCL or their handling agents will be at each terminal to take you to the coach. The coaches trawl the terminals for passengers, you may be lucky & it fills at your terminal, or you may be taken on a sightseeing tour  of the terminals picking up others. You can expect to be away from Heathrow between 10am & 11am, the journey is about 80/90 minutes, so you'll probably be on your ship in good time for lunch. If you don't want to wait around at the airport, National Express run coaches hourly (approx) from Heathrow's Central Bus station to Southampton Coach station. From there it's a very inexpensive taxi fare to the boat.

Hi, Scottbee, Doubt there'll be much hanging about, but yep the Nat Express coach http://www.nationalexpress.com/home.aspx (from the central bus station for Ts 1, 2 & 3, and most also call at T4 and T5) is an option and at about £16 pp plus a £5 to £8 taxi fare in Southampton will be a deal cheaper. Needs to be pre-booked. Time-scale is not an issue with an 8am landing and an approx 4pm - 5pm sailing. Regards, JB
