Easter on the Adventure

Recommended Posts

We really enjoyed our cruise, weather could have been better-:(

I will just rate what we did, any questions just ask.

We were on the ship by 12:30, very easy process.

MTD-we never had to wait, there were 5 of us, ate at 7pm. We had the same staff a couple of nights, but all were great and the food was too.

Windjammer was good for breakfast/lunch, lots to choose from.

Portofino food was great, service a bit slow and not as friendly.

We did not make it to any of the production shows but the piano bar was fun (did get a bit raunchy one night) Duck and Dog and the Sports bar were fun too. Love and Marriage Show was funny, did not go to Quest this time. We have been to the Ice Show before so we did not go this time.

Casino-the machines were not paying like other cruises (talked to a few who said the same) We did play black jack most nights, did ok, my son won $400- some of the dealers were NOT very nice/friendly (especially with new players), took money a few times when it was a push, we caught it right away.

Bingo was fun, did not win:( There was no big jack pot the last day like other cruises.

Room was a Jr suite, no coffee pot (I did ask though) the glass on the balcony had a film (on the outside) and lots of paint splattered on it, chairs were very dirty/stained so we had to lay towels down. We have had balcony's before but this one was not as nice/clean but still spent a lot of time out there.

Pools were very crowded so get there early, they do charge for towels so make sure you return them. Fun games during the day.

Teen Club-my son had a great time and met lots of nice kids-night club played 90% latin music so he was not able to do his break dancing:rolleyes:

We did independent tours:

Aruba-ABC tours-full day-lots of fun

Curacao-it rained all day so we went shopping

Dominica-Bumpiing Tours-it rained so we were not able to do a few things but saw some great falls and sat in a natural hot tub, did snorkel at Champange Reef too.

St Thomas-Megan Bay Beach-nice relaxing day, it did rain on and off.

We met some nice people and enjoyed our cruise, missed M&M, family member was sea sick after the first night(was a bit rough) but was better by day three:D
