we are going on New England cruise in Sept. 2010 out of New York. We will be flying into LGA airport in New York. What is the best and most economical way for transfer from airport to Manhattan pier for Norwegion cruise. Does anyone know about what a taxi fare would be for four people from airport to pier or which is the best way to do a transfer ?

One issue to consider with cabs is the amount of luggage four people will bring but some cabs are the non-traditional vehicles like SUVs or vans. I would look into a car service and divided four ways it could be cost effective. A car service will meet you either at the curb or in baggage claim and can drop you right at the cruise terminal.
